Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou resides within a department in the Loire Valley.  Famous for the production of Cointreau, the famous French orange liqueur, it's a quaint town with lovely châteaux and gardens.  Salvaging a beautiful lot of French reclaimed terra cotta tile hexagons from an old outbuilding helps us appreciate the French aesthetic even more.  As simple as this outbuilding was, the floor they installed, now over 150-years ago, is breathtaking.    The patina from wear is historic, the color variations from taupe and warm reds to burnt cream and stone keep the eye delighted, and the exactitude and quality of the tile allows the edges to be straight - but through time - it's been perfectly worn.

To Note!  PA 218 and PA 219 are from the same lot.  We divided the larger lot into two - one can mix the lots for the larger square footage.  However - the sizes slightly differ - therefor the installation would not allow for as tight of a grout line.  Beautiful none the less if needing a larger quantity.

Recommended Sealer after Installation:  Akemi Stone Impregnation for French Reclaimed Terra Cotta Tile Flooring

Cleaning and Maintenance:  Vacuum, then clean with Black Soap (Savon Noir) to disinfect, maintain, protect and enhance patina.
